As the seasons change we prepare for the cold winter in our old house in Sweden. We stack wood, fix roof tiles and prepare the garden for next year. Autumn is the perfect season for planting trees and we planted a new apple tree for my grandmother. A tree that represents her presence in the garden at the homestead. We cherish misty mornings, northern lights late at night and warm coffee in the morning. Brewed over the flames of the wood stove.
